First and foremost, as part of Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership, we help people find employment by gaining skills and real-life experience. Find out about the Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership charity here.
We teach the community how to look after and service bikes to get ready for a career in cycle maintenance. We also provide a safe, encouraging space in which people can simply feel that they are making a positive contribution to society as part of a team.
Our staff mechanics, community volunteers, adult learners and students reuse and recycle donated bikes and parts to make them rideable again; this benefits everyone, as well as the environment. You can donate a bike so it doesn’t go to landfill, and we’ll give it a whole new life. We award industry recognised qualifications that open career gateways.
Bike Project Surrey is a safe and welcoming place where people feel that they belong, can make friends, learn skills, and take part in positive, worthwhile activities for the benefit of all.
We partner with many local schools, charities, social service providers and other organisations to deliver life opportunities.
